Neil deGrasse Tyson, excellent speaker, astrophysicist, former policy advisor to NASA and the White House, etc. etc., will come to UW campus to speak about the Obama space plan, Mars Rovers, the search for life, Dark Matter, Dark Energy, the Large Hadron Collider and progress on a theory of everything.
Thursday, May 12, 6:30pm at Meany Hall, UW campus (U District, Seattle — map). Free.
Unfortunately, this event is already at capacity, but you can tune in to www.uwtv.org at 6:30 on May 12 only (there will be no archive), or you can try to get a spot in supplementary seating by showing up at Meany Hall at 6:15pm, elbows ready.
