Today at 3:30pm the occasional public bigot and decorated genetics pioneer James Watson talks at UW’s Hogness Auditorium in the Health Sciences Building (map). Seating first come, first served. Free.

Also today three different events happening at 7pm, including a panel discussion on the science of fires at the US Forest Service Fremont Lab (map), $5, as well as a genome science public lecture on paleovirology at the UW, free, and a Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge talk on the interconnected planet and people, also free.
